The Workshop is a newly renovated timber framed 17th century barn.
The accommodation has been extensively refurbished maintaining much of its original features which tell its varied history. It can sleep 4-6 people over two levels, with an open plan and well equipped kitchen, utility, dining room and lounge area. The master bedroom has an en suite shower/ bathroom, the second bedroom with en suite wet room is adapted to aid most disabilities. The mezzanine has a sofa bed with separate WC and basin. The Workshop is a beautiful property to stay in, spacious and stylish, good quality furnishings. In the current pandemic, it is excellent for social distancing if two households are together, and the preparation by the owners to ensure it is Covid safe is also excellent. The decking terrace has lovely views across farmland and we were fortunate to be able to enjoy meals outside owing to having such fabulous weather. We hope to return.
This is a stunning property, beautifully decorated and furnished. It had everything we could want. The environs were equally stunning and the owners who we had occasion to bump into as they live in the main house adjacent to The Workshop, were friendly and helpful. We would definitely visit again - my only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer!
