The Workshop is a newly renovated timber framed 17th century barn.

It was once a former stables and carriage barn, then a brew house, farm workshop and latterly a store room and kennels, but is still part of a working farm today.

The accommodation has been  extensively refurbished maintaining much of its original features which tell its varied history.  It can sleep  4-6 people over two levels, with an open plan and well equipped kitchen, utility, dining room and lounge area.  The master bedroom has an en suite shower/ bathroom, the second bedroom with en suite wet room is adapted to aid most disabilities.  The mezzanine has a sofa bed with separate WC and basin.  The barn has been well insulated, double glazed to conservation standards and in keeping with its 17 C charm.  This is a cosy retreat with its log burner and under floor heating.  It would suit couples, multi generational family with teenagers or young children and the family dog.  Outside there is decking, a small walled garden all with wheelchair accessibility and plenty of off road parking.

The workshop runs alongside the successful Bendysh Hall B&B which has been running for a number of years.  There is fishing, scenic walks, and the area is popular with cyclists.  Close to Audley End house, gardens and miniature railway. Saffron Walden market town, the renowned Saffron concert hall, Duxford, Newmarket, Ely Bury St Edmunds, Lavenham, Clare and Long Melford all in easy reach
